Directions :
1. Add 31.5 gm powder to distilled/deionized water.
2. Bring volume to 1.0 liter and mix thoroughly.
3. Gently heat and bring to boiling.
4. Distribute into tubes containing inverted Durham's tubes
5. Autoclave at 15 psi pressure at 121°C for 10 minutes.
Applications :
For the detection of fecal coliforms in foods, treated wastewater, and seawater by a most-probable number (MPN) method.
